About Us
It began with one van and a promise
Around 1990, in the village of Virovo, a young Goce Nikoloski loaded the first sacks of charcoal into a well-worn Mercedes van. No warehouse, no fleet — just steady hands, long roads, and a promise: whatever leaves our yard must be worth the fire it feeds.
Beside him from the first day was his wife and co-founder, Milica Nikoloska. Through cold seasons at the kilns and long nights over the books, they turned a village craft into a company a whole region came to rely on.
Three decades later the vans are newer and the kilns are busier, but the promise hasn't changed. Today their son Ljupco leads Virovo Promet — and every bag still carries what Goce and Milica started with: honest work, done together.

How It's Made
Traditional methods, perfected over three decades of experience
01Hardwood
We begin with sustainably sourced hardwood, cut and stacked to season.
02Kiln Burn
Logs are slow-fired in traditional earthen kilns — the smoke you see is charcoal being born.
03Carbonize & Cool
Days of controlled carbonization yield dense, high-carbon charcoal, then left to cool.
04Pack & Ship
Sorted, bagged in export-ready packaging, and loaded by the full container for delivery abroad.
